About Me
Acting was nothing but a dream... a big dream for Raquel
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Raquel began acting and dancing at an early age. After graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans with a Business degree and Theatre Minor, Raquel worked five years in “Corporate America”. In 2007 she finally set her eyes on pursuing her dream of acting. She was immediately cast as Emilia in Shakespeare’s Othello, with performances in both the Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Kravis Center in South Florida. Since then, Raquel works regularly in television commercials, audio dubbing, film, and voice over radio and TV spots for both the General and Hispanic markets. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese, Raquel began training with Act True’s Marc Durso in the Uta Hagen Process and continued her studies at HB Studios NYC.

Current Projects
I have had the pleasure of acting in the NYC and Washington, DC markets. Recently, I had the wonderful experience of working with Patty Jenkins on the set of Wonder Woman 1984. This military wife life has now brought me to SF Bay Area and I'm ready to tackle this new exciting market.
